Steps to Replace the Motor Brushes: 

• Unplug the dryer from the wall outlet
• Slide off the back cover from the dryer
• Remove all screws holding the two halves of the dryer housing together
• Lay the dryer on its side while removing the screws
• Remove the O-ring on the snout and lift the top half
• No need to remove the mounts to replace the brushes
• The internal filter frame remains in place during brush replacement
• Disconnect motor power wires
